Rear Admiral Vineet Bakhshi (Retired) served the Indian Navy for 36 years both on shore and afloat. He has attained his degree in Masters in Technology from IIT Delhi and is a Fellow of the Institute of Engineers (Civil). He served as Chairman and Managing Director of Goa Shipyard. He also served as Chairman of Board for Mazagaon Dockyard (a government undertaking and is the Chief Executive Officer of Govind Ram Memorial Education Society at present. He is also promoter of ‘Bakhshi’s Springdales Group of schools. He is well known for his social entrepreneurship and active involvement in renovation of government schools in rural Rajasthan. He has been appointed as Independent Director and Chairman of QGO Finance limited on board during AGM in Sep 2018 and was further reappointed via postal ballot, with the results declared on May 21, 2023, extending his term until July 31, 2028.
